Standard GCC products are used to clean and polish surfaces of all kind in our homes. Fine particle-sized GCC acts as mineral cleaning component in toothpaste. GCC helps packaging to get a clean and fresh surface appearance with high quality printings of any kind. Packaging which will be in direct food contact does contain chemically pure GCC. Even in food itself, calcium carbonate is used as food additive E170.
