Paper Finishing & Printing

Different particle-sized industrial minerals are needed to create coating pigments for paper finishing. Natural ground calcium carbonates (GCC) are available for coating colors having precise top cuts to create the paper surface as desired and having the correct amount of fine particles needed to achieve coverage and high-class printability. Such papers are widely used in all kinds of print media from high-gloss printed magazines to special wrappings advertising specific products by creating semi matt, matt or soft feel finishes.

Extremely fine particle-sized chemically purest natural ground calcium carbonates (GCC) are available to be used in state-of-the-art printing inks.
