As cross-linked polymers, thermoset resins can no longer be melted after they have cured, but should nevertheless remain dimensionally stable when exposed to temperature without losing a certain degree of elasticity.

Undesirable ageing effects in the end product and light resistance are properties that the fillers used here in the ALFRIMAL® product line address and, depending on their design and adaptation to the requirements of the respective plastic system, even have a flame-retardant and flue gas-reducing effect.
