PVC Profiles / Tubes / Injection Moulding / Sheets

In order to improve the properties of the final material and to keep it flexible, lightfast and colourfast in the long term, calcium carbonate is used as a filler in PVC-based products such as profiles, pipes or sheets.

If flammable components are added to the PVC in the formulation, the addition of products from the ALFRIMAL® series based on ATH has proven to be a flame-retardant filler instead of calcium carbonate, in order to make the product equipped with it safe, even in the event of a fire starting.
